About
A dog-trip site built on the inconvenient rule
Pet Friendly 30A is written by a small independent team that publishes under a team byline, with no invented staff, no stock-photo personas, and no pretense of a newsroom. We built this site around the one fact most pet-travel pages bury: Walton County's beach permit is residents-only, so a visiting dog cannot legally be on the sand. Everything else here follows from taking that seriously and planning the genuinely good trip that remains.
The rules we hold
- Every stated rule names its operating authority and links the document.
- No invented numbers: no made-up pet fees, averages, counts, or ratings.
- No loophole coaching, ever, including on service-animal paperwork.
- No fabricated reviews or testimonials, at any stage, for any reason.
- Businesses appear here only via cited sources; nothing is a paid placement.
- Pages are dated, and edits change the date.
Corrections make this site better, and rules change on the county's schedule, not ours. If you find a rule we have wrong or stale: hello@petfriendly30a.com reaches a person who will check the source and fix the page.
